📅 Saturday 26 September 2026
🕣 08:30 – 14:00
📌 Hof te Rhode, Diest
🎟️ Ticket: €90 (incl. networking lunch)

Whether you are a gynaecologist, physician, nurse, midwife, menopause consultant, TCM practitioner, acupuncturist, osteopath, health coach or researcher, you are warmly welcome.

Attending this congress counts towards your accreditation hours as acupuncturist (5pts). Accreditation for physicians has been requested.

There are moments when we need less division and more dialogue.

For too long, conversations around women’s health have often happened in separate worlds. Conventional medicine on one side. Traditional approaches on the other. Researchers, clinicians, therapists and patients each bringing valuable pieces of the puzzle.

At the Muchin Community Congress, we want to create a space where those perspectives can meet.

Not East or West.
Not science or nature.

But East and West.
Science and nature.

Doctor of Chinese Medicine · Founder ZhenTing TCM Centre · Professor ShenZhou TCM University Amsterdam · Co-founder Muchin

Chief Physician ShaoMin Xue

Dr. ShaoMin Xue holds a doctorate from the China Academy of Chinese Medicine Sciences and has been practising and teaching Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 25 years across Belgium, the Netherlands and China. As co-founding mother of Muchin, she translates millennia of Eastern wisdom into practical, evidence-informed tools for modern practitioners. Her perspective on the female life cycle through the lens of TCM is unlike anything you will hear in a conventional medical setting.

GP · Acupuncturist · Phytotherapist · Co-founder Muchin

Dr. Anneleen Six

Dr. Anneleen Six is a general practitioner with additional training in acupuncture and phytotherapy, a rare combination that allows her to meet patients where they are, blending the best of both worlds. She lectures at ICZO, teaches integrative oncology to medical students at KU Leuven, and is a regular voice in Belgian media on the role of Eastern medicine in modern healthcare. As co-founding mother of Muchin, she is the living proof that East and West can not only coexist, but thrive together.

Co-founder Muchin · Entrepreneur · Author

Anouk Lagae

Anouk spent 25 years building some of Belgium's most iconic brands before making a conscious pivot toward lifestyle medicine and the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine. As co-founding mother of Muchin, she bridges the worlds of business, science and nature with her signature boldness. Her talk sets the tone for the entire morning: why AND is always more powerful than OR.

Gynaecologist · Imelda Hospital Bonheiden · MD · MBA

Dr. Els Dufraimont

With over 20 years of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynaecology, Dr. Dufraimont has made it her mission to close the gender health data gap. She specialises in adolescent and paediatric gynaecology, prenatal care, and the hormonal transitions women navigate throughout their lives. A sought-after voice on women's health policy in Belgium, she brings both scientific rigour and deep human understanding to everything she does.

Gynaecologist · AZ Sint-Lucas Brugge · AZ Sint-Jan · Guest Lecturer KU Leuven · PhD

Dr. Caroline Van Holsbeke

Dr. Van Holsbeke is one of Belgium's leading specialists in gynaecological ultrasound and fetal-maternal medicine. With a PhD from KU Leuven and over two decades of clinical practice across multiple hospitals, she brings exceptional depth to the topics of menstrual cycle disorders, PMS and dysmenorrhea — conditions that affect millions of women yet remain chronically underdiagnosed.

Movement Scientist · Health Coach · Author of 16 bestsellers · 1M+ books sold

Sonja Kimpen

Sonja Kimpen has spent her entire career making healthy living accessible, enjoyable and sustainable for everyone. A Master in Movement Sciences from KU Leuven, she became one of Flanders' most recognised health coaches through her books, television programmes and keynote tours. Her talk brings the conversation down to earth: what we eat, how we move, and how these daily choices shape our hormonal health in ways both science and nature fully agree on.

TCM Practitioners

Inge Van Heukelom, Elke De Blander & Christien Greyn

Three experienced TCM practitioners bring the morning's insights to life through real clinical cases from their own practices. This session bridges theory and practice, showing how an integrative approach to women's health actually unfolds in the treatment room, from the first intake to the long-term results. Raw, honest and deeply instructive for any health professional in the room.

+ Patient Testimonials - Women living with endometriosis

Some of the most powerful voices at the MCC will not belong to doctors or therapists. Women living with endometriosis will share their personal journeys — the years of misdiagnosis, the search for answers, and what finally made a difference. A reminder of why this conversation matters.
