ICZO Course Muchin Herbal Masterblends

ICZO Course Muchin Herbal Masterblends

Practicals

What will you learn?

  • The story behind Muchin and why the three founders joined forces
  • Quality control: sourcing of the raw herbs, the production process without fillers or binders, the FAVV notification
  • Every Masterblend in detail, through its profile sheet: symptom picture, TCM diagnosis, tongue and pulse diagnosis, ingredients, action, conditions of use
  • Working with the overview table to find the right formula for the right patient
  • Which formulas complement each other and are often combined
  • Which traditional formulas the Masterblends descend from, and why they were adapted for Western practice

Who is it for?

  • Acupuncturists
  • Acupuncturists in training (PGAC 2 and PGAC 3 at ICZO vzw)
  • Tuina therapists
  • Chinese Health Care therapists, or in training (PGCG 2 or PGCG 3 at ICZO vzw)

No prior training in phytotherapy is required. The class is taught partly in Dutch and partly in English.

Practical

ICZO provides the syllabus. Continuous coffee breaks and a sandwich lunch are included, as is the underground parking. This course does not qualify for the KMO-portefeuille, but as a self-employed practitioner you can deduct it as a professional expense.

GP · Acupuncturist · Phytotherapist · Co-founder Muchin

Dr. Anneleen Six

Dr. Anneleen Six is a general practitioner with additional training in acupuncture and phytotherapy, a rare combination that allows her to meet patients where they are, blending the best of both worlds. She lectures at ICZO, teaches integrative oncology to medical students at KU Leuven, and is a regular voice in Belgian media on the role of Eastern medicine in modern healthcare. As co-founding mother of Muchin, she is the living proof that East and West can not only coexist, but thrive together.

Doctor of Chinese Medicine · Founder ZhenTing TCM Centre · Professor ShenZhou TCM University Amsterdam · Co-founder Muchin

Chief Physician ShaoMin Xue

Dr. ShaoMin Xue holds a doctorate from the China Academy of Chinese Medicine Sciences and has been practising and teaching Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 25 years across Belgium, the Netherlands and China. As co-founding mother of Muchin, she translates millennia of Eastern wisdom into practical, evidence-informed tools for modern practitioners. Her perspective on the female life cycle through the lens of TCM is unlike anything you will hear in a conventional medical setting.
